chapter 6 and 11 blog post

Question: Based on the information in chapter 6, would you prefer to teach in a classroom that had more or less digital technologies? Why or why not?


I would rather teach in a classroom that has more digital technology.  This way you can involve th students more.  It would be better then traditionally standing in front of the classroom lecturing them about the subject being taught you could use a scanner and scan  pictures on and show that what happened and much more.  






For both audio and visual technologies, identify one traditional and one emerging technology from the book, and explain how you could potentially use all four devices in the classroom. 

- You do not need to use all four at once within the classroom. Just say how you could possibly use all four.


Traditional Audio:  An audio cassettes.  these could be used to record students for example a spanish speaking, this would allow to student to listen to how they did 


Emerging Audio:  Audio Tapes:  These could be used to read students books or let kids listen to classroom discussions if they missed class. 


Traditional Visual: Broadcast video.  This allows the principle to make announcements to the school through the TVs in the classrooms. 


Emerging Visual:  VHS tapes.  They can be used to record classes for students who miss class they can watch what was recorded.
